Anton Planinsek, born january 1882 - died 1918.  Anton traveled to the US four times; 1889,1905,1907,& 1909.  He had 2 brothers, Franz (Frank) and Alois (louis).  Alois emmigrated to the US in 1910.  Alois stayed and rasied a family of 9 in Youngstown (Latrobe) Pennslvania.  Frank returned to Slovenia with his family sometime before WWII.  His son Frank was born in the US and returned as a citizen of the US after WWII was over.  He lived in Milwaukee until he died.  Frank the younger returned to Slovenia to sell off the family property, since he was the last living heir, in the 60's.

My  search is going very slow because I'm finding records for another  Anton Planinsek, born April 1884 who emmigrated at similar times and lived in the same locations.  I was hoping to find the names of my great grandparents or birth place for Alois and Frank, but haven't been successful so far.  All of the people who had this information are gone.  Family legend says that the village was a half day's walk from Ljubljana.

If you have any bright ideas, I am willing to listen!  Thanks, Fran
